Good day all. So the big question on everyone’s lips…why set up a food blog?
It started because after getting a reputation for loving good food. Our friends and colleagues kept asking us for recommendations for places to eat and we’d discuss all the restaurants in the vinicity of the area they were going to be visiting. We love passing on our recommendations and experiences and discovering new ones, so we decided we would open it up to as many people as possible. Cue the creation of The Cotswold Food Blog!
So if you’re looking for somewhere to eat, check with us as we’ll be able to give you a non-biased view of the food, service, drinks, and atmosphere. Email us (or if we’re online we’ll happily live chat) so we can learn what kind of things you like and make recommendations based on your tastes and occasion.
The only problem is that everyone has different tastes and we’re no different. At times we write reviews from more than one point of view. We may agree completely, or we may fundamentally disagree – and that’s OK. If we were all the same we would just have the same style of restaurant serving the same type of food.
We hope that after a while you’ll get to know us and we’ll get to know you. We’ll be able to have conversations about food and of course, take recommendations from you about where to review next.
Lastly we’d like to say the opinions are our own. We don’t write things to hurt and are open about our opinions both good and bad. We’re always happy to chat, so please feel free to contact us.
Hope to speak to you soon!
If you are visiting The Cotswolds for an occasion or holiday and need a special place to stay, then why not take a look at kate & tom’s selection of Cotswold cottages, houses and manors. Our favourite is Marsden Manor in Rendcomb!
